Figurativephoto offers a number of workshops. The following workshops are to be scheduled yet and you can set up private lessons as well.

Digital Photography -- A beginners class: This class includes information on selecting a camera fixed lens or SLR's, (Pixels, dpi, and sensor size explained.) storage devices, printers and print services, a software primer and selecting other resources. This is about a two and one half hour class. Feel free to contact Bill Young to schedule a class.

Digital Photography -- Intermediate class: This class talks about best use of your digital camera. What is different from film, what is the same, How to get good prints, neat gadgets for your digital camera. This class is about two and one half hours long. Feel free to contact Bill Young to schedule a class.

Digital Photography -- Advanced class: This class will guide you in calibrating your monitor, printer, and other devices. How to maximize your output. sending your output to a service or pro print shop. Looking at help full software. This class is just a primer for all of the above. This class is about two and one half hours long. To schedule a class contact Bill Young.

Digital Workflow: This class will take you from setting up the camera to take a photo all the way through the printing and archiving process. We will talk about various software, hardware, and how to configure your equipment to get the most out of it. This class would cover all the information in the advanced digital photography class and much more. This class is five to eight hours long and class size is limited. Setting up the Digital dark room: This class will take you through selecting equipment for a pro or semi pro digital dark room. How to select software, printers, scanners, monitors, and computers. This class requires the purchase of calibration equipment, a monitor hood, printer, a monitor and computer. You may already own some of this equipment. see Bill Young for group discounts on this equipment. This is a two day workshop and requires attendance at both days in order to really benefit from the class. Contact Bill Young for more information.

Maximizing your output: This class covers calibration of your printer to your monitor, selecting paper, a look at digital projectors, and developing a digital photo show. This class is between five and eight hours. Contact Bill Young for more information.
